I went out looking for some silicone baking "tins" today, could only find a set at argos for £20. Popped into home bargains on the way there and found a loaf "tin" and round one for £2 each - saved me a packet!

Some joker had spelt out a rude word beginning with "bell" with the alphabet mugs in our local store today. Childish as I am, I giggled all the way around....

For cake makers, they had some largeish flat packed, white cake boxes with cake boards for £1.99, which would make cakes look very professional...well not my cakes, they belong on Cake Wrecks
  • I bought a supply of Rachel Hale birthday cards, featuring cute kittens and puppies, at 29p each. Also stocked up on Chesswood creamed mushrooms at 59p a tin (89p in Sainsbury's) - love it as a filling for a jacket potato! There were some lovely mugs with names on but, unfortunately, only a few names left and I didn't know anyone with those names to buy one for! I think they were 59p.

Did not see the programme but it is £1.09 for 4 rolls, £1.99 for 9 rolls and £3.99 for 18 rolls. Much better than brands i.e. cushelle and andrex in my opinion. :)

think inflation has hit with fame. my 9 rolls were £2 today :D

  • I found some aluminium water bottles in two designs which look very much like Orla Kiely designs. One is a leaf pattern and one with flowers. They were only £1.29 each. I'm afraid I have searched to find some online without any luck.

Has anybody seen any of the Angry Birds laptrays in store?
