Loan company lost my original agreement?
I took a loan out about 4-5 years ago and have been paying back monthly however I have no copy of the signed loan agreement and have therefore requested the company send me a copy for my records. After asking every month by telephone for 6 months....no joy! Is this breaking the law and if so, can I stop making payments? Can anyone help?

If it went to court you would have to satisfy a judge about why you have made payments on a loan to which you have not got an agreement for.
The loan company will certainly be able to tell a court how and when it put the money in your account.
What do you think the outcome would be - which way do you think the judge would go for?
Have you never seen a copy of the loan agreement or are you saying you have also lost your copy?0
