Was somewhat suprised by this latest figure - would be interested to see some opinions. Sounds like very good news but is it a quirk/statistical miscalculation of some kind? Sounds almost too good to be true.

Chinese stats are notoriously dodgy which may be a partial explanation. There also appears to be a faint but very real economic recovery in progress too which probably explains the rest.0 -
I read they are doing more stimulus. The commodities industry is pretty much in direct orbit of what will commi government do next, they seem to think china will be buying much more
I think china is being a bit more stealth, they want to buy assets without stirring up trouble from 'taking over' I think Aussies turned them down on something massive but Canada has said yes recently
On a much smaller diverse scale various companies I own have been approached or already partially purchased.
Policy to their people seems to be use dollars to buy now but who knows how they really work0
