Clarins advent prize-not as described ;-(

Won a prize on Clarins advent, but was waiting for it to arrive before I posted. It arrived today and have to say whilst I am grateful for any win, its disappointing. The prize of the day was supposed to be a Beauty Kit worth £250, but what has turned up is a small metallic bag wih 4 sample products in it which is definately not to that value, even at clarins prices!. Several other winners have also voiced concerns on the Clarins site about similar disappointments. Have left comment on the site to see if they (Clarins) respond -I was so looking forward to this and now feel very deflated

Are you sure there werent 10 prizes on offer at 25 each as i recieved a tiny clarins thing that was a gift of the day that i would say is worth about a fiver lol but apartently its worth 25 quid !!!

On the day I won the prize of the day was described as a Beauty Kit worth £250.00 and I had an email telling me I had won the prize of the day. I know on other days there were smaller prizes available but thats what it said when I got the winning message.

I got one of these in a different Clarins comp, it came in a massive box for such a little thing!

How disappointing. I remember winning a hamper once worth £200 but when it arrived in a tiny box I added the prices up and believe the hamper was not worth more than £40. On that occasion I did not pursue it but I think it may be worth asking politely if they have sent you the wrong item. Hope it gets sorted. x

Hi..I'm the same I got a wem early 22/12 saying I'd won the daily prize (presumably the previous day) and assumed that this was the Beauty Kit as that was the last prize detailed on their FB page.
I got a huge box delivered by Parcelforce today so assumed I was onto a good thing but when I opened it it was full of polystyrene wotsits and a metallicy bag was hidden at the bottom with what look like samples inside. Like you pebble65 - I'm gratefeul for any win but am more than a bit miffed - might PM them and see how I get on....worth a go ;(

Hi guys, add me to the list. Really excited yesterday to receive a large box, but disappointed with a small bag of 4 samples:(
I seem to recall £35 being the value of the gift box when I won, but may be wrong. It certainly wasn't £250 in which case I would feel very badly done by and I wouldn't value what I got as anymore than £20 if that (the rest was obviously spent on the over the top packaging). But we seem to be all in the same boat with this one, and I hope pebble65 if you won a larger gift you get it sorted with them, they should honour it.
At least for me its a win, albeit smaller than what I had hoped for x.

I also won a Clarins gift set - I have no idea what they claimed the value to be, but I can agree it was small (sample sized) and arrived in a massive box!

Having said that, I am loving the products :-)

Have you still got the WEM stating what the prize is worth? I think it would be worth emailing them and politely asking if they sent you the right prize, it seems like they sent you the runners up prize by mistake.
