Making cash from online survey sites - new MSE guide

I have been doing YouGov surveys for quite a while, you're not going to get rich on them but they are fairly quick and easy to do.
More recently started Ipsos, hated them, surveys often long, when you took the time to sit down and do one you'd get kicked out as you weren't required and although you got points they often were not equivalent to the a proportion of the time spent up to that point. Surveys often tedious and took longer than expected, some require sound so you can't do quietly without headphones. I only kept going as I didn't want to go unpaid for what I had done.
Final straw on Ipsos, having managed to reach the magic 1380 points for a £10 John Lewis voucher on 19th November (for one current survey that's about £3/hour which you have to wait a long time for and won't get if you don't do enough surveys) I finally got round to checking whether I should have received a voucher - it's hard to find your way to this bit of their site, but yes, I should have after 4 weeks - it said fulfilled 2 Dec so I emailed them, unfortunately I can't remember what time, last night and then first class in the post this morning was my voucher with a letter dated 6th January. Coincidence???0 -
Has anyone here tried PrizeReload ? They pay you for completing surveys but just wondered if anyone had tried them0

the site looks like a total SCAM.
doamin name 20 days old, yet claims to be number 1 gpt site. Strangely has no google inbound links and no articles about it on the internet that google can find.
Domain owner details hidden, not good, and not what other GPT sites do... make it look like a scam

Has user testimonials posted that claim paid over £1000 a month from surveys, yet site less than a month old... looks like a scam. TOTALLY impossible to earn that sort of money from surveys on one site or even using 10 sites in a month. £200 a month would be extreamly good and any such site paying even close to £200 per month would already have many active threads here on this forum.
Signup page did not work for me, but WOULD be a good way to collect login details of those that use same username/password across several GPT sites.
You also posted a very spammy impossible review of the site here that got removed yesterday.0 -
Yes, panic over. I managed to get my money from the both sides. I have cashed before with Crowdology and I seem to remember one more instance when I couldn't withdraw for a day or two. It was my first with Opinion Outpost. All seem to be fine now.
Re: Crowdology - same happened to me before and usually waiting a little bit helpedScary though I agree!

Anyone finding YouGov surveys have suddenly just stopped? I'm stuck on 30% of the minimum level to get anything. I've seen elsewhere that others have this same problem. Is anyone here experiencing suddenly no offers from YouGov when they had before?
Problem is, I'm stuck on 30% of their minimum payout. If this keeps on I will never reach any payout from them. Despite having done a good job on a lot of surveys for them to get this far. To say nothing of the huge number of free input they keep asking you to give them every time you touch a part of their site.
Isn't there something in law that says that if the giver of compensation for something actually removes the way to earn part-way through, then as the problem has been made by them then they have to pay out proportionately? I haven't done all this work for nothing. If they've changed that's fine but I think it would be fair for them pay us pro rata.
Anyone having the same drying up of surveys from YouGov?
Anyone know the legal on this?0 -
Has anyone had recent problems with IPSOS? I've emailed them three times for my £10 voucher at the end of last year but they keep failing to respond.
Before this, they used to respond and send out vouchers fairly quickly. Is the company still running? Does anyone know who I can contact there to resolve?0 -
Hello,
I have started joining a few survey sites using the MSE guide and also the Guide on the Daily Telegraph.
I wonder how frequently I s should join new survey sites. I know that it takes months to build up a decent profit and the longer you stay on the site, the more relevant and the more frequent the surveys.
I am now with six sites? Should I join one every month? Every week? Or, why not? Every day?
What if then I have too many surveys and I am overwhelmed?
Your suggestions are welcome.0 -

I am with 14 sites. It is a personal choice. The more, the better, depends how much free time and patience you have.0
