I am a bit of an afficionado of boots receipts, and while it has made the mouthwash very cheap, you did pay for it rather than it taking money off your shopping, it's just how their receipts are laid out i.e. pretty darn confusing!

But you did get £3.15 of mouthwash for 78p and that isn't to be sniffed at! :money:

  • Thanks OP.

I think CoT is right though.

It's charged 2.36 and then taken 1.58 off.

If you add up the positive and negative figures on the receipt it all comes out to the final price shown on there.
  • Ok my bad I worked it out wrong lol sorry!!! I did pay 78p for it
  • They are the most confusing receipts around I must agree.
  • I only got 10% coupon from ATM and paid £1.42 each for mouthwash - bought 2 bottles and was expecting to pay 78p each but didn't realise I got a different coupon from OP. Silly me. However the 400ml Elvive cost 99p using 25% ATM coupon so that was a real bargain.

Thanks will check ACM, I only ever get 10% vouchers when i buy 2 shampoo/conditioners or shower gels and never 25% of anything :(

Will check them thid week, as thats a bargain for the L'oreal. But in your opinions, which one is better the nutri-gloss ones or Triple ones (black packaging)?

I had a really strange experience in Boots today (Y**k Monks Cr**s)- the opposite of being trouted. Went to the till with a Dentyl mouthwash, and some other bits and bobs, and the SA said have you checked the advantage card point it's giving an extra discount on mouthwash. She then took my card to the nearby machine and printed a coupon off for me - admittedly only 10% but better than nowt. I was really taken aback!!!
