I decided to have another look at pushchairs and after trying many I kept going back to the Mamas and Papas Sola City (not the Sola, I don't like the patterns).
Trust me to like the one that's new and not going in sale. I wonder if it will go down by 3 months. I'm not sure how else to reduce the price unless I buy loads of giftcards for less.Cup of Tea? :coffee:0 -
We had a look at travel systems the other day and noticed the iCandy Apple to Pear had a special offer on at John Lewis for the 85th anniversary. It was still quite expensive but as it was the one we really liked we went for it anyway.
It was a set that contained the pram, carrycot, car seat adapters, colour package, rain covers and mosquito nets for £595. I think the offer was on till the 31st December.0 -

I like it too! I don't think it comes with anything either does it? No carrycot or footmuffs even, so I think its too expensive, by the time I get that as well I may as well put the extra and get an icandy for £595
I'm 36 weeks so I don't think any offers will happen in that time. But I do much prefer it to the old sola. i think for the price it should come with extras0 -

The only time it came up was a month ago when they had the newborn soft layer to put inside. I think it was £249 then too so it is not the best price at the full £299 it is now.
Even at £249 you have to get the carseat and I guess footmufs (didn't know about that). It does seem pricey and can probably look at other brands at this rate as you said.
I didn't want to spend more than £200 but I think I should raise the bar to about £300 or maybe even £350 but that seems like so much seeing as you can always get a bargain. I hope it goes down soon for you!Cup of Tea? :coffee:0 -

We bought one yesterday from babies r us. It was a video one reduced from 69.99 to 39.96 and then found a £5 off £30 spend online code which worked fine to make it 34.96 with free delivery. Reviews seemed okay.
