Mothercare's Movix travel system has £200 off (now £299) inc carry cot, pram, change bag and cosy toes.
Pretty decent pram for the price (was eyeing it up at full price, but in the end we've gone for the mutsy evo)

(can buy the components seperately - eg cosy toes and bag for £30)0 -

In CP Sheffield Boots I picked up a Koo-di baby carrier for £5.00 which seems to be end of line in that particular shop as they were still £14.99 in Drakehouse. Smaller stores look to be likely to clear them out. It's a pretty great gadget useable up to age 3. http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://baby-years.com/image/cache/data/Koodi/hipe-500x500.gif&imgrefurl=http://baby-years.com/http://baby-years.com/Koo-diPackItHipCarrierBlack&h=500&w=500&sz=86&tbnid=LvCD-S94ugc5dM:&tbnh=90&tbnw=90&zoom=1&usg=__awIJonFObw8M26bP6URyM2bmPgY=&docid=nIVrnWkqkwcMNM&sa=X&ei=842TUYTNBsbUPJeLgPgL&ved=0CHoQ9QEwDA&dur=894
And the Heinz stage 1 baby food pouches are 50p instead of 89p and double points for parenting club members.
Finally they have the Heinz First Spoon pack with a pouch, a jar, a spoon and packet of baby cereal on clearance for £2.50 and it includes £1.30 of vouchers which you could use against the pouches above making them 20p each.
Obsessing about remortgaging and interest rates all day, every day:)0 -

Happyjaw I don't want to be a know it all or anything, but the koo-di baby carrier is not good for babies. The baby's legs shouldn't be dangling straight down like that, it is in effect putting all of its weight through the genital area. The hips need to be bent and the baby should be in a sort of seated position.
