I was just about to say about the Asda sale on clothes haha. I ALWAYS buy in the george sales, i got my son's winter wardrobe for next year half done thanks to it! Even if our tastes change by then he'll either still wear it or i'll sell it on.

Worth going to store though, they hardly ever have sleepsuits/vests reduced online, but i went into store and got several packets of both for a few quid each. If you have the money i recommend going along and stocking up - i got potty training pants for next year for £1 from £4 - and they have Cars 2 on ;) HTH

Also to note - they're sizing is generous compared to other stores, so you get plenty of wear out of them. My son is in 6-9 atm but can still fit in 3-6 asda clothes :)

Thank you for this, i have just purchased it for my daughter, and the code works even if like me you're not signed up to the family membership.
My daughter looked at this today in mothercare priced at £15, i told her not to buy it as i'd seen it cheaper online....so glad i checked this thread first. A big Thank You :)

Just worked for me too. Thanks so much :j

Great deal, worked for me (not an Amazon family member) :T thanks!
  • I've just started weaning with my son and popped into our local ASDA to see what they have in their baby event. I bought some tommee tippee spoons and a tip it up cup - I think both had £2 on the price label but both scanned throught the till at £1. Had a price guarantee voucher which more or less covered it all!

    Hope that helps someone!

Napisan is a sanitiser (washing powder) the cheapest place for it is Wilkinsons - it is fab for washing any clothes you are given (or bought second hand) to make sure they are hygienically clean. Also fab if baby is sick over sheets etc... I had never heard about Napisan till i read a post on here and its brilliant stuff.

If you see a buggy you love if you see a mum with it - stop them and ask them what they think of it - you will get a very honest review! thats how I finally choose my city bug pram and the woman who i stopped gave me a very accurate review.

Car boots, jumble sales, nct sales, and charity shops often have a very good selection of baby and children items. I find ebay expensive when you add in postage and twice i bought baby clothes of ebay and they were not good (one was awful condition and I binned it. One was photographed folded up... when it came it was a chunky cardigan but with short sleeves! it didn't matter using with a polo top but it was kind of hidden in the photo).

I've got to ask though - why is it needed? When I buy second hand clothes or DD is sick (thankfully not often) I just bung it in the washing machine on a hot wash and everything comes out fine. Seems a bit of a waste of money to me, but maybe I'm missing the point.

I'm still looking at pushchairs for my 2 year old but agonising over the choices and wondering how much use we'll really get from it, so yet to make a decision.

In my local Tesco they have Disney's Finding Nemo changing mat for £2.50. They are pale aqua in colour so will be fine for a boy or girl.
