Is this the right place for BR?

I am planning on going bankrupt ASAP (need to sell my car to get the fees). I have been in touch with CCCS and I definitely need to go BR. I'm worried I'm running out of time as I've had a card saying a door collector coming tomorrow. Will bailiffs come? The card they posted was a postcard which was annoying as anyone could see who it's from. Worried neighbours will know. I've never posted on anything before so not sure what I'm doing. Sorry if this is in wrong place

If bailiffs had been instructed, you would have had a CCJ first and then notice from the court.
Sounds like this is just a debt collector. You can just tell them to get lost if one should call.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Agree with fermi, usual tactic of a DCA door step collector, plenty of ways of dealing with them IF (and a big IF they call, as the postcards are a threatener to get you to call), just tell them politely to go away, (NEVER LET THEM IN) Tell them impolitely to go away, I only had two call, one chap really nice and re-assured me that BR was an OK path to take! the other had to be asked "do you like dogs?" "can you make it to the gate quicker than a 30KG Lurcher who has a problem with men in hats?"
every time I manage to get one more breath into this body, I will sing a song of thanks to you my brothers, my sisters, my friends, may your sleep be peaceful, and angels sing sweetly in your ears.0
