I disagree. If people are looking for a large discount then this is a good price. I guess it is all relative. My aim was for people that would otherwise spend £330 to spend £165.

and people who would spend £330 on a dress must have more money than sense, and probably wouldn't be visiting a money-saving website.

Erm yes I do spend a lot on clothes and shoes (well I used to pre baby number 3) and I do visit money saving sites. In fact I save loads on general stuff using discount codes and deals. I'm not a fashionista or insane but I do have Mulberry bags (outlet), expensive shoes (sales) and a couple of posh frocks - one was £550 but £150 in a sale. What I wouldn't do though is wear fur - it belongs on an animal not on me. My rule is never pay full price - I always go for sales and discounts which means I can afford nice stuff as a treat like my once a year new bag. If someone came on here and said I could get a Bayswater for £400 I'd be through the check out like my bum was on fire and be clicking the thanks button. Money saving isn't just about buying really cheap things. It's also about buying things you like at a decent price. Still despite that I'll not be buying a furry frock no matter which celeb has one.

Then good for you. Some do (including me) and I hope they get what they want cheaper. Remember some people object to leather, sheepskin, meat, etc, etc - but do not hijack a thread just because they do.

it isn't, the title is misleading and probably designed to be attention grabbing. 70% off the original price of £330 would make this dress £99 which it clearly isn't.

sensationalist title and dodgy maths to try and sell something most right minded people abhor.

I think the thread should be deleted before it causes further offence.
