Cheapest place for butter

I bought some Emerald salted butter at Nisa yesterday 79p for 250g listed as an introductory price so it probably won't stay that cheap for long.

How long do you defrost before using?

Good question. I find you can stick a knife in around 2 hours, maybe not all the way through. You can scrape a little off before that, or zap it in the micro.

Marks and Waitrose also 1.19

Kerrygold butter is now produced in UK and not Ireland. The past 12 months the quality dropped - it is far too soft and gloopy. No buttery taste. IMO

Tesco have Isle of Man Creamery butter on 2 for £2. Think it's usually £1.35 per pack. Very nice it is too. Oddly not on their website though?
