in Mortgages & endowments
Wanna £40 K mortgage and can put down about £200,000K deposit. Would like a fixed rate. Anyone recommend a good mortgage. Will see a whole of market tomorrow and trying to beat probable hike of interest rate in May.

    By seeing a whole of market broker, it looks like you will get the best rates anyway.

    At that loan to value you will have the while market open to you - assuming your income can support the mortgage and any other debts you may have.

    I wouldn't wait until May, fixed rates have already been pulled since last week and are still being pulled by other lenders as we speak

    I would suggest moving asap in order to still get a lower fixed rate
