Thought I could help but I can't

Sorry guys, I though I may be able to offer useful advice here, but with people like Mr Green Genes slating CSA staff in their entirety I just can't.
I have always tried to treat my clients as I would like to be treated myself, and done my job to the best of my ability, and yes, I agree that there are people who are downright incompetent, but I can't post where people who have never met me think I'm a liar and a cheat and say I don't know how to do my job.
I know my job inside out, and I'm accurate and good at it. That's my nature.
So long and good luck, all of you.

Don't leave Janiegs! We can make a difference to people who rely on us to help them. I just ignore comments from those just slagging off the CSA. Yes, it is difficult at times, but hey, I try to help anyway! Don't give up and just ignore them!!0

I've seen this so many times on public forums before. please don't let this happen to Martin's site.
He was kind enough and took the time to get a separate forum for CSA problems. Please don't reward him, by doing this.
This website has been a godsend for people in all walks of life. Don't let the CSA be the one that got away.0 -
Thanks for the support people (and from the folks that have pm'd me too), I really try hard in my job, and like I say I try and treat people like I would want to be treated. I hate any injustice and there seems little point in trying to bring the big guns into line when some people just don't appreciate the effort that others are making.0

Personally i find all the advice on these threads very useful.
Many people have been given good advice by all the csa staff here, i doubt for one minute anyone can disagree.Hit the snitch button!member #1 of the official warning clique.

Look Janiegs, get over it. I've been treated like utter s..t for over 5 years by more people in the CSA than you've probably met there. Not a single one has ever made any kind of effort on my behalf whatsoever so you should forgive me for being somewhat cynical. The only time they ever sat up and took notice was when they started getting letters from my MP. That is just utterly unacceptable behaviour from people who are supposed to be public servants.
If I get shoddy service from Sainsburys I can got to Tesco, If I get shoddy service from the CSA, I'm stuffed and all the people I've ever come across there know that. As a result of being treated like scum, I've come to view them as scum too. That may be a slur on some people there and that's unfortunate but hey, no-one's perfect.
You may well personally try to treat people in the way you would like to be treated yourself; it's just a pity that you're the only one in the entire organisation who behaves that way.
And, of course, I'm not "driving you away" at all. You're choosing to go, of your own free will. If that's what you want to do, ok, just don't make me responsible.Information is not knowledge.

I also get bad treatment and I am staff! However, I still wish to help people whenever I can. The whole system is a joke, and most of the staff are hardworking people, run by very bad management who just can't face the truth of what is going on because it makes their targets look missed, those targets are set by Govt. An example: when I was working for Face to face, we got referrals from the processiing teams of cases where the NRP had failed to respond to any correspondence - written or otherwise. It is clear that they want to avoid the CSA. So, manager in our office says 'we have to call them in for an interview'. We say 'but they don't want to see us, so they won't turn up, it is a waste of our time sitting in an office waiting for somebody not to turn up'. They say 'but we have to do it for health and safety reasons first'. We say 'but we can visit them - we have been trained. If they aren't in, we go back out of hours or at weekends when there is more liklihood they will be there'. They say 'we offer them an office interview first, then we write and tell them we are coming to visit on x date at y time and only then after you have failed to get them in, can you consider an unnotified visit'. Head, brick wall, bang. We got most results out of hours and at weekends. The only people who turned up for office interviews were those who had contacted US as they had a query. So us staff are up against it as well as the customers - we try and fight for you lot but get the blame when we can't do the job because we aren't allowed to. We know what we need to do, but management can't see it.0

Management are being controlled by the Govt... for instance the latest SofS. The top knobs that aren't in their jobs for long and then walk off with very nice pensions. Look at all the chief executives. I even met one once and he never opened his gob. And he was knighted for his efforts.
They really could not give two sh*its, never mind one.
And yes. I know what you say is true. And the Govt don't even listen to their own staff.
Why? Well we know why!
Someone said on a forum once " He said nothing and he said it well"....or words to that effect.0 -
Yup - you got it!! i just hate it when people go all out to slag us all off when half the time it aint our decision. The other half is being bogged down with too much to do so stuff gets left, sorry, not half, a bit less because there are some totally useless people there, but I don't consider myself to be one of them!!0
