Appealing mortgage decision

Hi.
As detailed on here previously, Ive recently had a Britannia mortgage declined at the underwriting stage from a incorrect late payment marker that appeared on my CRs a few days after the initial application.. the survey had already been carried out by the lender and came back OK.
After over a month wrangling with customer services of the "offending" company - they have removed the marker from my credit reports and i also have a letter from them stating this.
So once i have confirmation from the three CRAs that the update has been done i hope to try and get britannia to reconsider.
Im planning to send them a copy of the letter, plus maybe a copy of the updated experian report (is this a good idea? - should i send the full report or just the affected credit account?)
Is there anything else i should do/send them to maximise my chances of getting the original decision reversed?

If the late payment was the only problem, providing proof that it has now been removed (ideally a full copy of your updated credit report) should do the trick.

I would ask the lender what information it needs. It may simply require a new application and will conduct its own checks.I am a mortgage broker. Did Britania actually confirm that this was the reason for the decline?
Unless it was the only reason then I'd expect them to have another full look at it.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -

Have you rung them and asked?0 -
Have you rung them and asked?
I did ring and ask, and was told to send the correspondence and a copy of the updated report "wouldnt hurt either" - given i was speaking to one of their general mortgage call center staff im not sure what authority they would have to know what i would need to provide for the underwriters?0 -

This is what i thought - ill give them another call tomorrow just to confirm - but as it stands ill just send a copy of the "its been put right" letter, a copy of the credit report and a covering letter... then its out of my hands really0
