I've 2 1000cc bikes I only use periodicaly at weekends. One is 14 year old & the other is 20yo. The insurance (TPFT & £500 excess) has jumped from £160 to £240 in the last 2 years. can anyone reccomend a less expensive insurer in NI?

Try ebiker insurance. I used them a few years ago and found them to be the cheapest.

Try compareni.com - it looks like you can only get an online quote for one bike at a time, but if you get a competitive price back for one try ringing the cheapest insurer listed and see if they'll offer you a deal for covering both bikes.
