well would you go to a war zone for your holidays .
We know its not all like that but the tourist dont.
I know there is a poster on here who asked about going to Belfast in February and staying in the premier Inn .Now they have changed their mind because off recent news reports"Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0 -
I wonder is there a market for Recreational Rioting Tourism.....??
so you could come, play a few rounds of golf, Drink yourself senseless then head of for a bit of stone throwing and petrol bombing.......
Now how much would you pay for a weekend of that....... May be good for organised Stag Weekends!!0 -

How would the travel insurance be for that? would there be cover for your bonce when hit on the skull by a polisman's baton? Will you be ok for treatment for a plastic bullet in the groin?

If i have any people with me who havent been to Norn Iron before i must say that some can and do feel a little anxious. Even more so when they see the flegs and the peelers all fenced in an all. The last thing the country needs is this kind of thing all over the news. It doesnt take much to scare the tourists off and worst of all,big business.
I can certainly see your point and agree with you. We are avoiding going into Belfast just now. Nobody wants to be caught up in violence. Riots are scary things to be near.0 -

I'm nearly in tears just thinking of that!! A case of Black and Blue Balls rather than Blue Balls
My understanding is; they fire low to avoid hitting you on the napper. You rarely die from a hit on the gentleman vegetables
