Booking is now open for Get Into London Theatre 2013! Choose from over 60 top London shows, including plays, musicals, dance, opera and entertainment. Remember, there are no booking or postage fees to pay!
Not sure if anyone has posted this, but every January there is an offer for up to half price theatre tickets in London. A lot of amazing musicals and plays are available in the offer, with prices starting from £10 in the Gallery, to £35 for seats in the stalls. Big name shows are included like;
Singin' In The Rain
Mamma Mia
Billy Elliot
The Woman in Black
There's even some child friendly shows too.
I've just booked tickets for The War Horse and One Man, Two Guvnors, both with seats in the stalls at £35 each. It's a massive saving as tickets are usually around £60 each plus booking fee.

Many thanks OP. Anyone who might be put off going to the theatre because they are very tall (or short!) might find the guide to theatre seats on Theatre Monkey just what they need: http://www.theatremonkey.com/seatingplanindex.htm
Also discount ticket offers: http://www.theatremonkey.com/INFORMATIONBYSHOWTITLEAtoZ.htm#C0 -

I went and saw 1 man 2 guvnors through this offer. I highly recommend it!
The £10 tickets are very high up but you still have a good view.0 -
Thank you so much for this. We have a bargain London break booked in February and were looking for something to do in the evening - just got 39 Steps tickets for £10 each. Very happy! The whole trip (travel, hotel and show) is costing us a grand total of £30.12!0

Share where you got hotel and travel for £10.12 - that's a bargain i'm sure we all want!Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.0 -

We went to see Spamalot on £10 tickets last Saturday night (12th Jan). High seats but reasonable view and still a great night.0
