Freezing dishes for lunch?

The sauce could be varied a bit with whatever is laying around in the fridge so I can definitely see a bacon and tomato sauce with gnocchi, and a spicy chorizo version too.
That looks dead easy to make as well, will have to try that, thanks0 -
I find it works if you make the mash up thicker than you'd normally eat it, more butter for flavour and less milk. Often serve it as a side, e.g. bangers and mash with barely any difference to fresh mash
What's the best way to reheat the mash, and does it need to be defrosted first? I froze some a while back but not sure how to reheat.
Thanks.

If you check out the supermarket freezers for ready meals you should get some ideas (Aldi do big bags of cooked pasta in sauce which is kind of free-flow and Lidl do a big bag of Cantonese style rice with oriental vegetables) Maybe you could adapt the idea to your own favourites?
I'm another one who purloins a portion from our evening meal. I found it works better if I fill a container before we sit down to eat as OH 'hates to waste' anything left in the pan!The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.
