Curtain question! How many widths would you say is right?

Thanks ladies, will look up some more local makers. Wish I paid more attention in sewing class 30 odd years ago.

My curtain maker charged £20 per drop to make up plus extra for hand sewn headings like pinch pleats, plus obv the cost of lining/ interlining and fabric. When she retired I couldn't find anyone nearly so affordable so ended up making my own - ok for most windows but for my big bay never ever again.

Umm....speaking as a competent home sewer I could make these in a day by machine to a good standard, or two days for hand finished. I'd be delighted if someone was prepared to pay me £520 for this! Is the lady who is making them a professional or is it part of a company? Are the curtains hand finished?

I'd get some more quotes tbh.
