Hi Everyone, I'm new to the board!
I decided last year that I needed to get my butt into gear and train to do the job I'd wanted to do for years.
So far I've passed my Cemap One......... What should I do next!??
I have no office experiance eeeek, but husband is a manager of an estate agents so I at least have an insight into his world!!
My dream would be to get a trainee role........
Any advice would be greatly recieved.
Thanks x

You need to get a position as a trainee, since you need to get your Competent Adviser Status via a Company.
Well don on your CeMap 1 - I have my 2 & 3, doing CeMap Course 1 this week. Start with my Company next week and take my CeMap 1 exam the week after.
Some of the mortgage advisers here and the trainees started a private online google group to discuss industry issues. If you would like to join I need your email address.0 -

C&Q helping is like the blind helping the blind!
Unfortunately, although we have a lot of new Group members, we are all new to the business and no-one is responding to questions that has any experience. Could do with our qualified members posting please!0 -

That gives you a significant advantage over most of the other trainees that enter the business. You have potential clients walking through the door daily.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
Just reading a few threads and Ive noticed a lot of trainee mortgage advisor jobs are asking for sales experience even in banks. Has anyone got any advice how i can get sales experience quickly as I have failed customer service jobs in the past just becasue of lack of sales.Saving needed to emigrate to Oz*September 2015*
