Wedding Packages Under £3000?

Hi Guys,
Started wedding planning last week and trying to be as MSE as possible, been looking at Groupon because I've seen good value wedding packages in the past but there's nothing on there at the moment.
We have about 80 guests, looking at 2014 and we're not really fixed on location as I'm from the North, Hubby-to-be is from the South and we have family everywhere in between.
Trying to find an all-inclusive package for 80 guests under £3000 (room hire, wedding breakfast for 80 and evening buffet for 80) Is this too much to ask? If anyone can help me with suggestions I'd be really grateful. xxx

have a look at some of the chain hotel wedding packages...places like holiday inn, best western, marriott etc
you can also google wedding packages in....the city you want...and this sometimes throws up local hotels who do something all inclusive.
In the past holiday inn have done some very reasonable deals for the types of numbers that you want...a word of warning though, stick to the package and its the set price but if you try and change elements then sometimes the price goes up.
Another thing to consider to reduce costs would possibly be a mid week wedding or a sunday, and choosing a date outside wedding season of april-september will also possibly give you a better deal.
You say you dont mind where the wedding takes place but it might be easier if you do decide on somewheere that is fairly local to you, mainly for arranging meetings with the venue etc,yes its easy to correspond by email and phone but you may possibly want to be there at least the night before to drop things off and if its a 200 mile trip from where you live it can sometimes be not that eady to pop over to. Also consider if you have guests travelling if the area you have chosen has some reasonable priced accomodation for them to stay in...somewhere near a travelodge or permier inn might be better than say central london where the prices to stay over will be higher.
Do read carefully whats included in each package as it does vary from hotel to hotel and chain to chain, and sometimes not always the same things are included in every location...
also check the wording...for example"cake stand and knife"means that you supply the cake and "glass of champagne for the bride and groom"doesnt automatically mean your guests will get one too!
The groupon deals are usually offered quite late and I doubt that they are advertising anything for 2014 yet,and again they usually offer the best deals on a weekday wedding...and also ones at very short notice!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
Great advice thank you, I'll get googling0

Vote for Best Western from me - packages at our local hotels start from £2014 for 50 guests in 2014, but can be tailored to any number. You might come in just over £3k for 80 guests, but our experience with them so far has been excellent.0

Puma Hotels (was Barcelo) packages are worth looking at too, they do those all over the country.
We got married in 2010 for £2,500 at the Imperial in Blackpool - we had a gorgeous sea-front facing room for the reception and our own private lounge with bar.0
