Induction hob, any reccomendations?

Looking to buy an induction hob, it seems they vary in price from the El cheapo Logik from Currys at £199.99 to well over 1K. Would I be mad to buy this plus 5 yr warranty total price £250 or pay twice as much for a well know brand? The Logik gets good reviews on Revoo.

I have had the 1000mm Siemens hob for the last 5 years at least. It is absolutely excellent, a doddle to keep clean and shiny and most of our visitors think it is brand new! Wouldn't use anything else now.:D0

I've got an AEG induction hob.
I was very dubious about getting it, as I always thought gas hobs were best, but I've had the induction for 10 yrs, still in perfect condition, and I love it.
Be aware you may need to get different saucepans, suitable for induction.Early retired - 18th December 2014
