Question re Barclaycard interest

I'm not on a DMP but due to unemployment am making payments of £1pm to my creditors (Barclaycard being one) through Stepchange.
I sent the I&E off to Barclaycard with a cheque for a £1 and within the week had a letter back saying:
"Providing you continue to make your monthly payments on time, you will not be charged interest or fees, and our Collections dept will contact you less often.
This is a concession on our part to help you through your financial difficulties, so we do have to tell you that if you miss any payments, we reserve the right to withdraw this concession and we may take further action against you to recover the balance on your account."
I defaulted on this account a few years ago and Barclaycard stopped all interest then (was with Payplan at the time). When my situation improved and I started making full payments again it was a good 12 months before they started adding interest.0 -
We've been on a dmp since 2008 and barclaycard have always charged us interest. I would dearly love to pay them off cos we are stagnation with them and we will probably have paid off a bigger debt sooner than them.xLBM 2008 [STRIKE]£45,091.23[/STRIKE] eek: now £7889:T Debt free date 18/07/20180

Looks like Barclaycard have a terrible way of dealing with people who need help. I will be so greatful when mine has been paid off. Strange though as my biggest debt (monument) was £3387, Monument were fantastic and never charged a penny extra, they have fully been paid off through the DMP.
Whereas Barclaycard i only owed £1617 on and its still at £841 owing. Means they will of gained £643 off me in interest, plus more from the rest of the payments.
Would love to gain that £841 from somewhere and just say bog off to barclaycard finally!0
