Hiya. I would like to buy kindle fire.

Mate bought kindle fire before christmas and said was about £99, now £159 - 199. Does anyone know of anywhere to get cheaper (or MSE method to get most back?) please?

Is it worth waiting for price to come down? Really want (my big birthday and is going to be my present from DH) by end of month.

It was £99 in the Black Friday deals that Amazon ran - I doubt you'll find a new one cheaper.

The Kindle Fire is not the same as the Kindle Fire HD, as well as the HD feature, there is a great deal more space on the HD versions. Your asking in your title about the HD version but in your post you mention the non HD version, is there a particular type you wanted?

Yes, the Kindle Fire was £99 at Argos last month, the cheapest for the Kindle Fire HD appears to have been £129. Tesco were selling these for this price about three weeks ago.

You can track the prices on Amazon using camelcamelcamel.

And if you're signed in to HotUKDeals go to the custom settings under HUKD Tools and API near the bottom of the page of their website, add to tags the words Kindle Fire. You'll be sent regular updates to your email inbox as soon as someone posts an offer on there.
