CCCS / Stepchange

I am overdue my CCCS / Stepchange review by nearly a week. I am in a position now to be able to pay around £500 per month to them due to me getting a new job.
However, the plan is to not tell CCCS / Stepchange about my change of job and continue to pay £110 per month to them, save the remaining £390 per month into a savings account then when I have enough money I want to make F&F offers to creditors.
Obviously this is a little bit naughty. Is there anything they can do about it? Dreading doing my review with them.
Thoughts please.

Won't they ask for a currently payslip? I am also overdue my review - they haven't contacted me yet - but my December payslip shows a backdated pay rise so therefore over inflated figure. Was hoping to review after Jan payslip which will be 'actual' new wage. Assumed they would want new proof of income but maybe not - perhaps someone who has been in the review process can help...?
If not, and you want to hide your increased income that is up to you, be aware they may kick you off the DMP if they found out.LBM:1/1/12Debts @ LBM:£43,546  Debts now: £9,486  78% PAIDFound YNAB 1/2/14 - the best thing EVER!0 -
I had my first review with them about 4 weeks ago.
They didn't need to see a payslip, it was a case of checking the budget and seeing if anything had changed. Our payments went down due to increases in a few things.
They will have expected your pay to have changed slightly due to tax codes changing but take your word for it.0 -
Sorry but it's dishonest in my view ..... they're providing you with a FREE service and now you're wanting to lie to them!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

I was overdue my budget by around a week this time, done 6 yrs worth of reviews and i have always been as honest as i can. Tbh i can't really give you advice on this as i know if i had savings i would pick into it and not really benefit in the long run.
If you up your monthly payment it will soon be paid off, and seeing the bigger monthly payments to your creditors will keep you upbeat about it all0 -

So if you had chance to potentially save a couple off thousand pounds by offering a f&f payment you wouldn't do the same??TOTAL OUTSTANDING DEBTS CURRENT BALANCES: Allied International - £3359.61, Blair Oliver & Scott - £1394.65, Lloyds TSB - £211.22, Lloyds TSB - £3125.80, Wescot - £966.25

Offering a F&F isn't lying or dishonest.
You're simply making an offer, which they are at liberty to accept or decline.
It's no more dishonest, than making a, below screen price, offer on a car.0 -
I would just want to remind you though that there are CCCS advisors on these forums
Good luck with what ever you decide to do.

Personally - nope!
I don't particularly like having this marked as "part settled" on my credit file so prefer to pay them in fullGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

The reference to being dishonest was with regard to lying to CCCS/StepChange and nothing to do with the F&Fs.
Danny you have freely admitted on other posts that you have taken out further credit while on this DMP and now want to keep back the payrise from CCCS/StepChange and save it to offer as F&Fs. Knowledge of either of these actions would be enough for CCCS/StepChange to discontinue your DMP so why not sort it out openly and honestly?
How long will it take to save the money you think will be accepted as F&Fs?
Do you have any debts charging interest?
Do you have any guarantee that your creditors will accept the offered F&Fs, I assume you are thinking of low % offers?
Do you really think that you will get your defaults wiped when/if they do?
Why not go it alone and pay the full amount available off your debts each month? With your current debt balances, if no-one is charging you interest, you could be debt free in 18 months.LBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin
