North London wedding venues help please!

Hi,

I am looking to get married in North London/Herts in March 2014.
Currently having trouble looking for venues for 50 people- ideally we would like somewhere with a wedding licence with sit down meal included for around £3k. I know this is a challenge but does anyone know if such a place exists!?

We have found some places for around £2k but they didn't have a wedding licence and we would like to stay in one place for the day. Also found plenty of venues for £5k but can't seem to find anything in the middle!

Thanks!

Hiya, have you looked at Forty Hall in Enfield? I know they reopened after an extensive refurbishment last summer.

    Hiya,

The quickest way to find out about all licensed venues is by looking at the Local Authority's website. Somewhere they will have a list of all the licensed venues in their borough. You can then look through to see which fit your requirements.

    E.g. http://camden.gov.uk/ccm/content/community-and-living/lifetime-events/lifetime-events--registrar-service/twocolumn/getting-married-in-camden.en?page=2

    Hope that helps :)

We got married at the Royal Chase in Enfield. They have a wedding licence and they have smaller as well as larger venues. We got married in their outside 'marque' (proper brick built! I'm doing it no justice here!) which specifically caters for smaller numbers (and we also had the option of the BBQ instead of the usual sit down which was fab

I can't speak for their prices now as we got married years ago, but they were VERY cometitive at the time

Best of luck finding the ideal venue though :)
