Software refund

I recently purchased some software called Crystal FTP. They took the money from my credit card and sent me an email claiming the registration key was included further down the email - which it wasn't. They're based in the States, and if you go to their website, https://www.crystalftp.com, there isn't a phone number listed, only email addresses. I've emailed them several times, but they don't acknowledge.
I've also contacted my credit card company, but they say that as the purchase was for software downloaded from the internet there wasn't much they could do about it.
Has anyone had similar problems with this company? They're also part of SWREG.
So very frustrating.

Could just be some small outfit. Why not ask for your money back under the 30day guarantee? There are plenty of free ftp packages you can download.
SWREG looks like a 3rd party ecommerce site.0 -
Thanks, I've been trying to ask for the refund, but they don't acknowledge any of my emails.
Guess I should just give up, but it's frustrating. This company were recommended by the guys who administer the website I work for (which is why I needed it).
Thanks for your help.0 -
Give them a chance, they will probably get back to you later today.
Rember they are in the us, you can also speak to Swreg as they deal with the transaction.0 -
I've been chasing them, almost daily, since 11th February.
But I do still get their mailouts trying to sell me other products, but obviously without any contact information, only the email address they don't respond to!0 -
I didnt relise it's been since the 11th.
Have you contacted swreg? - http://usd.swreg.org/contact.htm

Yes, I've used that link. I have a mailbox with two emails from me, both of which they've read. Honestly, i have tried every avenue. I've emailed sales@ support@ advertising@ webmaster@ for both crystalftp.com and swreg.com.
I'm not sure I can get a copy of the original email on here.
I just wondered if anyone else had managed to get refunds from this company.0 -
