    I decided to combine acquiring a Homebase card with buying a much needed replacement for my rubbishy thermostatically controlled bath/shower mixer on 10% off day, with signing up for the emails too.

    I saved £15.00 on the new bath/shower mixer tap, AND it matches my basin taps - I had no idea the taps had come from Homebase, and I'd always loved them. Plus, of course the £1 for signing up for the email, and the points I got on the purchase - very encouraging.

    The guy on the counter told me the Homebase card is actually better than the Tesco card for value - can't believe this is the first I've heard of it!

    yes you do but very easy, just fill in name and address and they give you the card there and then
