Hi everyone i got my mortgage july 2011 and received a statement jan 12. Throughout 2012 i made several overpayments by popping to bank, each time they give me a receipt. Would love to see would the balance is as havent seen one for a year. When do you think i will receive the statment? Also can you get then monthly or online? Thanks

Hi,
You should probably get a statement in mid January, but you could always call them for a balance in the meantime.Slow progress is better than no progress.

Looks like statements will be every January. Don't think you can get monthly ones.(not sure though). We have online banking with First Direct and an can see all our mortgage payments,balance etc.0

I get mine annually but call up and ask whenever I want to check the balance <spreadsheet geek>I'm a qualified accountant but please make sure you get expert advice as any opinion is made in a private capacity.
