Reminder - unused Morrisons miles card points expire this Monday 7th January 2013!

OK, technically not a grabbit but a reminder to act before Monday...

If you have any old Morrisons Miles cards laying around that havnt been used in 12 months then make sure you either use the card or take the card(s) in to the station and ask them to transfer & combine the points onto another active card before Monday 7th January. Any cards that havent been used for 12months will now expire from this Monday and you will loose your points :eek:

I had two cards at home that I have not used in a couple of years. No idea of the balance but I took them in today when I was filling up. They checked the balance and found that I have over £6 worth of points sitting on the two old cards, so transferred them onto my active card and issued me with a £5 shopping voucher. Not a fortune, but better in my pocket than Mr Morrisons!

It kind of is a grabbit though. Because if people have not been to Morrisons' petrol stations they do not know about these changes. As, this is in small print on the bottom of the receipts. Also, because they do not collect your details like clubcard or other rewards schemes there is no other way of them getting the information to you.

Depends on your definition of a grabbit... this site is called Money Saving Expert... hopefully by reminding people this will save someone some money... and this board is called grabbit while you can... this is a limited time offer that people must act on before Monday in order to keep their points towards a £5 shopping voucher. As we know the Motoring board is not as frequently visited and due to it fitting the above criteria, this is not a bad place to tell people. Judging by the response from all except yourself, most people are happy that I posted!

Its called being nice to other money savers, and sharing knowledge for the benefit of all!
