I left my previous employer over 3 years ago, i recently was going through my wage slips and relised that i was payed for my car allowance monthly, but was never payed actual petrol money, which i estimate over £1400.
Is there any way i could claim this back?
Or have i left it to long to be able to claim ?
thanks

It would, I assume, depend on the rules of the company with regard to expenses. My firm introduced a 3 month cut off for back claims as some people were hoarding their claims. Other firms require a monthly return etc. I suspect it may be too late, but I guess you would need to enquire with them.I don't want to achieve immortality through my work, I want to achieve it through not dying0
