When you say Greek yoghurt , is this more ore less like the total one ? , hubbie loves that one but he is going through 3 large pots a week ! , I would get the electiric one if it was very similar . I do have an easyo one but find the sachets expensive

If anybody uses the EasyYo sachets it might be worth visiting the YorhurtDirect.co.uk website and signing up for their emails as from time to they have special deals and promotions on various yoghurt sachets.

I have the electric lakeland one but as I now have an Aga, I do not need it. Was going to get shut. If you want to pm me I will post it out to you but would appreciate if you could send me postage cost in stamps when you receive it. Don't want anything for it, just the postage would be nice and to know that it would be used and appreciated.
Thank you for this site :jNow OH and I are both retired, MSE is a Godsend

As mine is still boxed I have stuck it on the kitchen scales for you. Mine weighs 816 grams in the original box.

I've been thinking about getting a yoghurt maker but I've been reading up how to make homemade yoghurt on the Internet and gave it a go today. I made soya yoghurt and just put in two tablespoons of some plain alpro yoghurt I had and mixed it with a carton of sainsburys basics soya milk. Put it in a container and in my oven on the 'proofing setting'. Took it out this evening and have yoghurt!

If you don't have a yoghurt maker yet I'd give it a go this way as its been super cheap and I now have a ton of yoghurt :)

I also read another suggestion that if you don't have a proofing setting switching your oven onto the lowest setting for 4 minutes before you put the milk yoghurt mix in and then turning it off helps keep the mix at the right temp too and if it's not set after about 8 hours put the oven on again for two minutes
