Meal planners...... I started one :D

Well after reading various stories and getting loads of advice from people on here.

December 1st I started a monthly food planner, slapped it on the fridge and stuck to it.

A month is up and I stuck by everything ( apart from 4 days when I was ill and never eat ).

OMG Ive saved over 100 pounds in a month, buying bulk food, cooking two meals and splitting them over the next/following day, buying offers like 3 for 2 or bogof and using that product over again within the 30 days.

Ive drawn up my Januarys planner and looking forward to bulk buying tonight.

This is a great site and Ive saved a packet of money on food so far.

Well happy :D

  • Well done!

We started doing meal plans a few years ago when I got 'credit crunched'. We saved loads of money with meal planning and it also felt good having no food waste, other than peelings.

Despite being back into a similar financial position to pre credit crunching we stick with the meal plans. We have ignored it in the past and have definately spent more money, in those weeks.
