Hi,
If you want a multiyork, it's worth looking in one of their shops that have a clearance section, don't confuse it with the sale, not all shops have them. There used to be a list on their website of which shops have a clearance section but I can't see it at the moment. Our local store, Bath, does, the whole of the top floor is clearance furniture, we've had some really good deals from them when it has been cheaper to buy a clearance sofa than get our original one recovered by them. Also got a good deal on a dinning room table and chairs in the past.
We have just bought 2 leather Imogen sofas this week for £1900 from the clearance section, in the sale they would have been £4440.0 -
Well done jog - we actually got our first two sofas from their main warehouse in suffolk. Not too far from us and it is in an old Mill there - floors of clearance stuff
But of course, it has to be what you want and it would be tempting to buy because its such a bargain. The imogen are nice - we had the carlton range - well we still have them after a couple of decades, one in our big kitchen for the dogs to lay on mainly and the other in a small snug room - shame being the cost of covering them would be more than the cost of them originally.
We were going to go to their city shop today but its thick fog here and OH doesnt want to be rushed into buying just because their special offers end today. Plus I would like to see what FV may do about the mis selling of these sofas as leather now that I know its a real issue.0 -
I was at Mellis clearance shop in Suffolk yesterday, some great bargains to be had. I bought a three seater Carlton for £949 delivered in Fabric that has been discontinued. Cost new would have been £2500. Also there is extra 10% off till tomorrow (sunday)
Cheaper to buy a new one than get our old one coveredThanks to MSE savings we got to go to Disneyworld Florida.

We are in the process of having our multiyork chairs recovered by them this is costing £1200. For 2 chairs and a footstool. their sale seems to have been extended, as a advert in the daily mail today says save £100 for every £1000 spent--- ends soon, this seems to different from the sale they had running over xmas.
I wish we lived near your branch in Mellis as our local store does not have a clearance section.0 -
Yes it was a bargain Multiyork have 3 clearence stores - Mellis Suffolk, Leeds and Reading, we have a two seater sofa that is still ok but covers are a bit threadbare but cost of recovering is too expensive so we are going to get a throw to go over it.Thanks to MSE savings we got to go to Disneyworld Florida.
