Debt Free - Keep Going - It's Do able!

Wanted to post to hopefully encourage people who are finding it a struggle!
After 4 yrs of battling with debt in one form or another, I managed on xmas eve to be debt free!
Reasonable Full and finals negotiated with 2 companies end of 2011, and a massive discount negotiated with one of the banks end of 2012. It wasn't easy, a drs letter needed to be sent stating depression due to debt but they did eventually listen and I got a settlement accepted of 23%.
I'm not proud that I had to go down that route, but I am proud of myself for still being here...because there were some very dark times. It was the support of my loved ones that kept me going, and the information that I found on this site was a massive help to me achieving the F&F's.
So thank you to everyone who has posted here in the past, you may not realise what a lifeline it is to people, but I can assure you it is.
And to those still going through it....just keep at it, find out everything you can to build your confidence, because knowing your facts and knowing your rights keep those demon thoughts at bay.
I am still finding this site a huge help...by setting myself no spend days, working to a budget, 'want not need' mantra, I feel I now have a healthy attitude to money.
And lastly, please, please, please, talk to someone, because it helps to not go through this alone.
Thank you again to one and all.

Thanks for posting, its great to hear the success stories and the fact that the battle is eventually won. Sometimes it feel like such an impossible goal.
Well done for sticking to the frugal life even after the debt. It is so easy to take your eye off the ball and suddenly wake up in debt again.
