Hello
I am determined this year to live an OS lifestyle to get my home and my finances in order and to make our lives better however I am struggling to get the other members of my family onboard.
At the moment I am hoping to meal plan, set up a cleaning rota so it all gets done and get the garden sorted so that we can grow some of our own fruit and veg.
How do you get the other members of your home onboard?

Sit down with a list of things that need doing, and a white board and have a discussion about how it is all expected to happen without anyone doing anything. You need to have a column of days with meals, chores, diy etc that you can write people's names in and then they can cross it off when it's done and the whole lot needs to be shared between all of you.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

And discuss what should happen if people don't do their allotted jobs.0 -
Think about what to grow- maximise expensive stuff. Think about when it will be ready and how you will store it. 100 basic lettuce all ready one week is a bit pointless as you can buy them for pence etc etcJune challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving
July challenge £50 a day. £ 1682.50/1550
October challenge £100 a day. £385/£31000 -
We all set aside the same 2hours (ie everyone at the same 2hour slot) a week to do housework- varies by time each week due to social commitments but we agree in advance a time and everyone must be there.June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving

I have exactly the same problem. My OH doesn't seem to get it when I say 'We are SKINT, we cannot buy food we don't need' So I'd also appreciate some tips on how to get him onboard!0
