Aww bless, just went to try and find a link and saw my dear little doggie on the front of some of the videos. She died a couple of momths ago bless her  still, though bittersweet, it is nice to have captured her quirkiness on video over the years :)

We have a collie dog as well, so she may feature in this years videos if i make any. I would love to see anyones photies or videos. The more the better i say :)

Lets see if this link works...

Oh what a good idea! Before and after pictures! I'm definitely going to do some of those! Been pricing up skips today. Basically at the end of the garden, there's a deck. It's about 2 foot above ground level, and underneath is mountains of rubble, rocks, debris etc. Hoping to use the wood to make raised beds and the fence to fence between the front gardens. The raised beds, along with (hopefully) a greenhouse and a chicken house will go where the deck is currently once it's been cleared. I'm not expecting miracles from the land - aside from anything else it's got a Scot's pine (or something similar) on it, along with the stump of another conifer which one of our neighbours very kindly (!!) cut down for us without our permission  all that will need clearing. I think building and filling beds would make sense and I'm thinking weed material and bark chippings between them. I was hoping to be able to fit a honeybee hive in somewhere too, but not sure where it'd fit tbh - bees need space round them and they wouldn't get that. I may have to just get our honey/beeswax from my parents (they have 3 hives!) :)

Oh I've waffled a bit there, sorry lol :o

  • You've not waffled on at all coldcazzie! (I'm sure Katholicos had this sort of thing in mind when she started the thread!)

Gosh...It sound's like you have some amazing plans! And you're parents have bee hives?! that's amazing!

This year I plant to expand my growing space and have some more structure to it.

Plus grow some really unusual things.

I will start sowing mid to late February for carrots and tomatoes but everything else will be sown from March onwards.

I seem to have more luck with fruit and veg rather then pretty stuff. Still trying to grow/keep lavender alive.

    Ooo, do tell :D
