Teachers' Pension Scheme Website

What a totally shambolic mess the TPS website is. https://www.teacherspensions.co.uk/ .

Early December they emailed members to say "We're pleased to announce that the improved My Pension Online (MPO) section of our website goes live soon" and that "By making MPO more secure you'll need to re-register when visiting the site for the first time".

Well it's now the 4th January and you still can't log in. All you get is daily updates saying they are still trying to resolve the problems.

It would be laughable if it weren't so pathetic!

I agree. A classic case of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". It worked perfectly well before, for my needs anyway.

I have noticed this before with other sites. Just leave well alone!

The website promised an update on 'progress' today ... did we get one? ... NO.

Capita who were appointed by the government to run this scheme should be fined Big Time. They are a failure of epic proportions.

My wife received hers on the 3rd December telling her they were improving the website and saying it would be necessary to re-register when it was ready.

I've checked again this morning and their latest update says the website is working properly and then go on to say, but you still can't re-register yet. They are still working on this. DOH! How can the website be described as working when you can't even log in to use it's personalised services?

My wife wanted to file on-line an application for her retirement benefits. Looks like we'll have to download the form and do it manually now ... and then I expect they'll lose the form and deny all knowledge.

What a Fred Carno outfit!

    Crapita !!

Trying to sort out a simple deferred members question for a month - what a shambles - I guess I don't really need an answer for 5 years - but now I'm getting worried
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine
