My latest update:
I cancelled my DMP with CCCS and am now managing it myself. Creditors have responded as follows:
Lloyds TSB - Owed them £19k - they put this into a consolidation Loan at only 7.7%APR with the exact pymt of £249 pm I was due to pay them under the DMP. I took this to protect my credit rating with them as my mortgage is also with them and the hassle free time was important to me. I have now sorted what got me here so no further spending on cards and Od etc so no problem.
MBNA - owed them £7900 - paying them £65 pm, interest frozen at the mo, now down below the credit limit of £7800 so a psychological blow there.
Nationwide - owed them £2200 - accepted a pymt of £30 for 6 months
Black Horse - owed them £2100 - accepted a pymt of £24pm -a right pain in the derriere these have been.
Capital One - Owed them £1100 - paying them £15pm and Interest frozen. Never heard from them to know they accepted. Only found out by checking Equifax and finding out they put on my credit file that I am on a DMP to clear the account.
Thats about it folks. found it easier to self manage at the mo so hopefully it will continue.
