Have tried closing and re-opening Internet Explorer.
Not helped by aging & overworked lappy, but wondered if anyone else struggling?

Have you done a maintenance routine on your computer?
Clear your cookies, browser history, and clean your disk- you should be able to access them via your control panel.
When a lot build up it can slow down everything.
Also try clicking compatability mode- it helps when you're running an older computer.0
