Good morning guys & girls.
Its 4:28pm here so just coming up to the end of a work day, hoorah!!
What will you be spending today?
So far I have spent $0.00 - and dont intend to this evening, or tomorrow..
If you dont want to read about my trip, avert your eyes now.
Have a good day xx
*******************************************************
I only have 6 weeks left of work  !! It's come around so flippin quick. I am soOOOOooooo grateful I have my MSE-ways about me, it has really helped me on this trip & I dont know how other people manage to be honest as travelling IS expensive.....
In 6 weeks I go to HK for a 10 day holiday to see my sis & a couple of friends from home (sooOOoo cant wait!!) and then I get back to Sydney, but will have no job & nowhere to live so am thinking of heading to Melbourne to work the remainder of my visa, so around 7 weeks. And then I am hoping to apply for a 3 month visitor visa to travel around the rest of Australia, but this may well be declined, so Plan B, will be to head to NZ & work/travel there for 6 months, and then come back to Aus after that.
I know I have a bit of money saved still, but its amazing how quick it goes. When I go back to hostel life (ewwwww, dreading it already!!) I will REALLY have to be "Old Style" and very money conscious - sometimes easier said than done!!... Have already been on t'internet looking at hostel/flat prices in Melbourne, the price of the trams etc etc. Too organised for my own good sometimes.... I need to think up a "Hostel Diet" - maybe I'll post that on the OS board, that will give them something to think about...!
I have to try and figure out a way to a) stay travelling and see all of the countries I want to, b) be able to afford flights home, and c) have some money to go home to. I-am-not-moving-back-in-with-parents!! NO WAY!!
I guess where there is a will there is a way. I will do it.

nsd for me... :T0 -
Good morning everyone:wave:
I'm hoping to get away with bus fare £4 and 39p for a bottle of milk (I've discovered that if I take cereal in a small sandwich box for breakfast (I can't face food early on) I don't spend anything in the cake shops on the way to work ( I used to buy a muffin every day 70p a go
We've got bread milk and food in freezer and cupboards and I'll be shopping over the weekend because we go on hol next week and we're leaving DS1 at home (he is an adult by the way) but if he is house sitting I can't really let him starve.
Anyway better get to work
Bye for now:wave:

I feel absolutely rubbish this morning, pounding headache and 'heavy hearted' if you know what I mean, which wasn't helped by a walk to the Post Office to pick up a parcel for my OH which hadn't made it back to base yet... then it rained. So got soaked, and no parcel.
But I digress. £2.55 spent so far on breakfast / lunch stuff (need vitamins, have smoothie) and estimate 79p on milk on way home.0 -

Well, as per my signature I've gone overbudget - I blame the day I left my lunch at home
90p on bus this morning, and a few bits in the supermarket.. I really need to plan my food shopping better (and bringing more of it into work) - think I'd do better on the walking home and not spending on bits and pieces if I didn't keep getting hungry
Still £12 is considerably less than I used to spend in the week after paydayDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Probably about £4, lunch and parkingNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Ok, Im going to spend around £6 today. Part of this is on a budgeted magazine but the rest will be lunch.
Due to my recent total lack of organisation there is nothing that I could take as a pack lunch to work. Also my Case has broken so im using an old record bag at the moment as otherwise its going to cost me around £60-£80 for a new one what I really cant afford at present.
Hopefully my day will get betterOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 297 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts0
