Hi-Has anyone tried the Mail voucher in Tescos yet? Be great if it does scan-got to decide whether it`s worth driving into town!

My tesco normally accepts vouchers with this wording.

I notice the barcode is quite blurry. Anyone tried if it scans automatically?

Has anyone tried to use the mail coupon on the Tesco self-scan? - the last lot I had don't scan and I have to go to a manned checkout and cross my fingers that they will take them.

I tried to use one of these in my local today but it wouldn't scan, however the very nice sa inputted the numbers manually and it went through ok

Voucher would not scan on selfscan for me today. SA came over and read voucher and said I couldn't use it. Never mind, had just bought 5 copies of DM , but the very nice SA had overridden till loads of times for me to scan all my coupons: original bill near £100 down to £20 odd .

Just been to Tesco and my Mail coupon wouldn't scan.:( . Will try again though over the weekend

After leaving the office I went tescoing (at lunch-time I bought 6 copies of the Mail) - on both transactions the SA could not get the Mail vouchers to scan, so used his hand held scanner still no luck and squinted as he tried to type the number in (unsuccessfully) so none of my 6 Mail vouchers were accepted.

Will try them again this weekend

just to update, my mail voucher went through 1st time yesterday evening, probably depends on quality of print on the page as sometimes they get bit blurry
