Have I won on a Twitter Comp?

Hi all
I am relatively new to entering competitions and have opened a twitter account.

Can anyone please tell how I would find out if I have won anything.

You can set it so that it will send you an emither saying along the lines of i.e "MSE has mentioned you on Twitter" or "you have been sent a direct message" IYSWIM.
there is also a @ connect icon next to Home, which if you click, will show up "interactions" you have done and there is also "mentions" that if you click on it, it will show up anyone who has mentioned you.
That's what I use to check. There may be other ways, but one of the more experience Tweeps on here may come on and help you out.

The company would normally mention or DM you. If you have not changed the default settings, you should get an email notification.

You can change what email notifications you get, by clicking on the cog icon and then settings, and then email notifications on the left. You should ensure you're getting emails when you're send a DM (direct message) or if you're mentioned - some companies won't send you a message, but will just mention you, and email notifications for this aren't turned on by default, I believe.

You can also turn off twitter updates and news here, if you'd like to minimise the general rubbish which probably goes to your comping email address

Thanks for the instructions. Just checked my comping twitter account to make sure my notifications are set right, they are, but I haven't won anything yet:(

But at least I now know I won't miss it when I do.:)
