I did my shopping in tesco and bought cyprus (i think) loose potatoes. Just got home and realised i've been charged for sweet potatoes at £1.28 per kg...anyone know what I should have been charged? Just so I know if its worth saying to tesco. Thanks.

I can't see Cyprus loose potatoes on mysupermarket but Tesco's Apache loose potatoes are £1.99/kg. Loose baking potatoes are £1.50/kg."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

Just been on the tesco web site and there are no loose potatoes cheaper than £1.50 per Kilo, so you need to tell tesco they have undercharged you.0 -
Thanks, will be right onto that...give tesco their money back0

Someone I know was moaning about the price of loose Cypriot potatoes there the other day, they were £2 per kg. Could they be the same ones?
Wonder if tesco will ask for DTD when you mention the mistake?0 -
:-S sorry for sounding silly, whats DTD. Think i'll let tesco off...this time haha.0

DTD = double the difference. It's a policy tesco have where if they overcharge instore you then they pay you twice the cost of the mistake so if they overcharged you by 50p then they would give you £1 back when you went to customer services for your refund.0
