Been looking through this boars the past few days to eradicate pointless spending but haven't spotted anything yet!

I'm one of those people who has a habit of buying a different cleaning product for everything:o and realised it's a bit daft, especially after I decided to leave my (well,it's not mine now lol) sink unit full of them when I moved a few months back, bringing none with me!Obviously,I purchased SOME after, but not the insane amount used before!

Can anyone recommend a cheap (why splurge on cleaner?) multipurpose cleaner that actually smells nice and does as good a job as stardrops? I have a thing for scents ;) (loved flash with fabreeze but won't use it upstairs)

Or is there something I can cheaply make and personalise with scent myself? Needs to be used on all surfaces including laminate floors.

Do you like the smell of lemon? I often used to use lemon juice as a pet-safe cleaner. I tend to use vinegar now just because I bulk-bought it cheap and don't have to worry about housemates moaning about the initial smell.
Otherwise, I think Zoflora is scented (seen a Christmas scented one being discussed on here) and quite multipurpose

I second Zoflora as well. That smells nice, its economical in as much as you dilute it alot and not very expensive in the first place.

I'm a sucker for Flash as well and Sainsburys Lavender furniture polish. The house smells lovely after I've used these and the windows have been open all day :D
I don't buy either of them very oftern though. :o

Ooooh, just looked at the website and they do a cherry blossom one. That's me sold!!!:D

I don't recall ever seeing in shops though, but that could be due to me being busy picking up a million other bottles:o

Currently 2 for £2 at Tesco.

The bottles sound quite small, how much do you dilute it?

Hi, The bottles are very small compared to other cleaning products. But its something like a cap full (think thimble size) to dilute with enough water to fill a spray bottle.

I've just googled it myself and its stocked everywhere according to the website. I'm tempted to buy some now :D

I'm a Zoflora fan too :) The Christmas one smells of cinnamon and I think it's lovely, I admit to buying a few bottles when I see it as I don't think you can get it all year. I also like the Bluebell and Hyacinth scents, and I think they do (or did) a Springtime or Daffodil one which I loved too.

i love zoflora but tend to use it after cleaning to disinfect surfaces?

i didnt realise it was an actual cleaner?
  • Zoflora - yup, it's an antibacterial cleaner - have a look here http://www.zoflora.co.uk/

    I love the smell!

When my current bottles of cleaner are finished I'm going to start using this for everything (just use for the floors now)

Ohhhh - am I the only person in the world who's allergic to *drops?

It made my eczema come out terribly and my whole hands ended up peeling
