End of fixed rates?

I got an email through today from The Motley Fool saying about mortgage providers ending fixed rate mortgages. Found it funny that this was the first I had heard about it so what do people on here know? Looking to remortgage for another property soon but really really REALLY want fixed rate

Most lenders have recently withdrawn fixed-rates, but probably waiting to see where BoE and money markets are going over the next couple of weeks. With any loan product, there will always be somebody giving it a go to get market share.0

Fixed rates are coming off the market and will come back on at higher rates once increased interest rate expectations can be priced in.
Fixed rates are hedged in the swap market. Once the higher than expected inflation figures came out, swap rates rose. As a result, fixed interest mortgage rates need to be recalculated by the banks.0
