ESA and Training Courses

Hi
My Partner has recently started to claim ESA after he lost his job due to an accident he had and has been placed in the Support Group. He doesnt want to remain on ESA for any longer than he has to and would much rather be working, he has seen some courses which are of interest to him and which he could study for at home and which would help his job prospects when he is hopefully well enough.
My question is , do you know if there would be any help with the funding of any of these? The one he particularly would like to do costs around £900 and although we could borrow the money if needs be , I thought it may be worth asking if we might be entitled to any help?
Many thanks.

Contact a local Logistics Training company that has links to a FE College, they will be able to advise on funding for this specific course. My gut feeling (working in FE) is that unless there was an almost cast iron chance opf a job afterwards there will be no/little funding available as it is fairly expensive. Best to check though. Do you know what level the course is? (A Level = Level 3 for example?)0
