Independent wedding reception venue in Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire

Hi All,
My fiance and I are recently engaged and are planning to get married in Spring 2014. We are looking for an independent reception venue in Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire so that we can choose our own caterers as opposed to having a wedding package, but struggling to find anything. We are wanting to avoid a hotel, perhaps interested in halls/barn-type venues without wanting to spend a fortune... If anyone has any ideas that would be great as we are really finding it difficult as we will have 100 guests for the dinner.
Thanks

Draycott House do bespoke Weddings at a very reasonable price. Lakeside Marquee in the private grounds of the house.

We had our reception at Whiston Manorial Barn - it would easily seat your numbers (we seated 120) but I'm not sure if you have a choice of caterers. They work to your budget & requirements though - we had a pie & pea supper and everyone still comments on how nice it was
Several hotels nearby for guests to stay, and I think they may be licensed for ceremonies now... The only downside is a lack of outdoor space which wasn't an issue for us as we only used it for our evening reception, so didn't need any "scenery" for photos.0 -
Just in case anyone else is looking for something like this here are our findings as of July 2014 I can't post a link as a new user apparently so please search "Pixies in the Cellar rustic derbyshire venues" and I've written a whole page about our search for somewhere0
