I assummed from this you had younger child/ren that wore polo shirts as part of their uniform. I see from another thread you have an older child. Do they wear traditional shirts to school? If so, do you also put them in your uniform bag or do you find they crease?

......................................................................................... Idea pinched from the cleaners at work, put an additional bin bag/old carrier bag under the bag in the bin. When you empty you have a new bag to use already there.

ETA: It just occurred to me that I have a dress for handwashing that's been in the bottom of the laundry basket for, wait for it, 3 years :eek: It's not like it's dirty socks or knickers though is it?

Progress! - my Xmas decs are down and packed in their boxes but the boxes are sitting in the middle of the living room. The tree is bare but completely dried out and is shedding needles everywhere. This needs to be taken outside and chopped up but I can't get that man of mine out of his sick bed.

I washed my dress!! I put it in the machine on a handwash and it's fine. It's 100% silk which was why I was worried about it. it's also a size 8 so waaay too small (I last wore it to a wedding just after I'd lost 35lbs. I've put a stone back on since then ) but I'll hang it up and use it as incentivisation to lose weight.
